A man is visited by a strange blue creature.
Is it a bug? Is it an alien?
Where did it come from?
What does it want?
And why is it following the man?
When we first read The Visitor in the summer of 2015, it was love at first sight.
Upasana had mailed us out of the blue, asking if we'd be interested in publishing her first book, and our answer was a resounding, “YES!”
How couldn’t we? After all, it has a blue kokaachi in it.
We love, love, love picture books.
We feel the best picture book tell us truths about ourselves, things that we once knew as children, but have now forgotten in the hustle and jazz of our busy, adult days.
The Visitor is our first picture book... of many, we hope. It has no words, and yet it speaks volumes about something we all encounter in our daily lives.
We feel The Visitor is a story to be treasured - on the bookshelf and in the heart. It is also a story worth returning to, again and again, no matter how old you are now or will become one day.
